HOTEL 22
On a global scope hotel 22 attempts to impose a new model of hotel where there is collaboration with a local community. In this case it is with the graffiti artists and the Wynwood area in Miami. It will not only seek to collaborate with a local community but it also will try to show how this kind of projects are intended to give back to the community, be it with a green space or a gathering space for locals to enjoy.
This project will try to touch each individual who visits it in a funky way depending on their purpose in hotel 22. Artists will have a hostel to stay, a space to work and a gallery to display their work as well as all the public areas. Locals will be able to enjoy all the amenities the hotel is willing to offer. All of this plus the unique and funky Wynwood experience is what the project wants to project.
THE ECLAT
The Éclat seeks to create a unique time traveling experience for each customer. Taking as a reference Breakfast at Tiffany’s, the story behind it, the glamour, luster, elegance among other enchanting aspects that not only the novel but the 60’s decade represent bring it into a space.
With the use of various empowering materials, transitional seductive spaces, and unique pieces of furniture, it seeks to create a exclusive experience for each guest that makes them escape from life into a space where time feels that stops. With this in mind The Éclat desires to liberate each guest and make each one of them indulge into a different era experience for a while.
MOVING AWAY FROM THE SPACIOUS LOBBY THE SHOP COMES AS A CONTRAST AS IT IS ENCOLSED IN A CAGE. INSPIRED IN A BERLIN CONCEPT THE STORE WANTS YOU TO GET INSIDE THE CAGE AND EXPLORE ITS CONTENTS.
AS SEEN ON THE PERSPECTIVE GRAFFITI WILL BE DISPLAYED ON THE EMPTY WALLS.
